All the more reason for BioSteel to become a sponsor. When I hear biosteel I don’t think of a drink.. Gatorade is like kool-aid…

Will be interesting to see the post game pressers as I believe most of the time I see players and coaches drinking water after the game. Either Dasani or Aquafina depending on whether Pepsi or Coke is the sponsor. It was what was actually in the gatorade bottles actually. I enjoy Biosteel way better and its a far better option calorie and sugar wise.
I remember years ago Chara got shit for drinking a coke or pepsi when he was sick. All he did was put it in the proper sponsored bottle after, lol. Will be interesting to see the post game pressers as I believe most of the time I see players and coaches drinking water after the game. Would be a great name for a probiotic.Biosteel sounds like something you put in a car to fuel up.
I ordered some sample boxes and so far I've enjoyed them. Gatorade tastes better, but with how much liquid I go through during the summer at work and at home I'd rather not ingest all that sugar.
Gatorade is a huge player in sports. I'm disappointed for the NHL that they lost them. Even Powerade would have been better than Biosteel.
Gatorade branding is very powerful for sports. The commercials themselves are massive as they usually have a mix of athletes. I don't believe I've ever seen a commerical for Biosteel and if I did it did not pop out.Why exactly though? $$? I don't think we'll ever know the $$ amount(you can compare financial statements sure - at advertising expenses and compare gatorade's year over year and biosteel's). But beyond money, what is the issue? Just brand name recognition? Gives "legitimacy" to the league based on their sport drink of the NHL? Kind of a minor thing to be disappointed about IMO.

Well Lakers seem to appreciate biosteel.
Los Angeles Lakers trade Gatorade for BioSteel to fill team's bench sponsorship
BioSteel will have exposure on the Lakers bench and in-arena signage at Staples Center. Beverage deals with top NBA teams can range up to $5 million per year.www.cnbc.com
Old story, but I think people are overblowing the whole Gatorade versus BioSteel thing.

That's one team but Gatorade has all the major sports and WNBA lol.
