If we keep Nash on the LW, the only thing this team really NEEDS is a 3c and a RHD. We could use a bottom 6 player who is tough as well.

Richards was never good since hes got here, just like hmm let me see Gomez and Drury who some people on here tried to pretend they were some clutch winners. Im tired of that i see what i see and Richards is not a number 1 center i said it the day he got here of course all the experts on here said no your crazy all the bs that comes with people who dont see the game as it is. So yes the biggest problem is Richards and Gaborik. Money once again tied up in two players that are paid to be top players whom which are not on the level of atleast 26-28 other teams top players. Second to me is losing a lot of quality depth, you cant replace guys like Prust, Anisimov, Dubi, Feds and John Mitchell who for whatever reason got bad talk even though he did very well. What did we get in retur nother than Pyatt who i like on the fourth line, and than expect things to get better. Here we are once again looking for ways to dump FA signings, when are we going to learn, when is Sather going to learn probably never. I bet he would trade Hagelin even if he is a great guy for us to have and is one of the fastest players in the league. Not to mention we lost Staal who is arguably one of the MVP of this team.

Gomez wasnt terrible, the guys flat out skated well (end to end), everyone on here thought he was a goal scoer but he was a number 1c with great vision.. the time we had him we had no good wingers, just a year of jagr, which Gomez put up 70 points and then we lost Jagr.. he had noone to play with while here.. just imagine we were able to sign gabs to play with gomez.. would have been amazing combo.. speed playmaking and goal scoring.. Hard to argue we traded him and got a number 1d..
Drury his first 2yrs wasnt terrible, but the rest was garbage idk how he fell off so far..
but I agree great points!! i Rather have the prust, dubi aa on the team over an under performing richards.. Gabs is different, bc pure goal scorers are like home run hitters in baseball; they either hit the ball a mile or strike out.. similar to goal scorers very streaky..
