Verne Gagner wanting a cut of Hogan's Japan money or getting Hogan to compete exclusive in the AWA , Hogan refuses which led to him not getting the AWA world title and jumping to the WWF and becoming the biggest star in the industry.

Dean Ambrose took Vince Sr's belt to Smackdown for the foreseeable future, that's a pretty concrete way of changing the company forever.

For as much as people like to crap about the Anonymous Raw GM angle, it did lead to Edge getting traded to SD and Punk getting traded to Raw which had a tremendous fallout.

Punk killed it on commentary for a few weeks before working with Cena in the New Nexus angle, then the pipebomb happens and we have YEARS of fallout from that.

Meanwhile on the SD side, Edge has a nice long main event run. Works with Dolph Ziggler who eventually becomes a 1 time World Champion. Culminating in his retirement, and Christian getting the title instead of Alberto Del Rio. ADR ends up on Raw, eventually getting the Raw MitB and cashing in on none other than CM Punk.

Meanwhile, Daniel Bryan wins SD MitB (which I doubt happens if ADR is still on Smackdown), cashes in on Big Show, turns heel and starts screaming YES at Michael Cole after every victory. Loses the title to Sheamus in 18 seconds and the rest is history.

You could most definitely connect the curtain call to Owens winning. Cause of the curtain call Austin gets HHH push. HHH then forms DX which leads to an angle with Step. They get married HHH gets more power starts NXT and now wants to see his NXT guys pushed. Then again whose to HHH doesn't marry Steph without that story
