Borgen is making MiIler look very good - something that Trouba couldn't do in his last two full years here (and at fraction of a price). He seems to actually got to even the higher performance level after he got his extension.

Re. Parssinen: I don't know how much leash he'll get for now while the team is trying to make the playoffs but Drury said that they have been interested in bringing him onboard for a while so whatever happens now is not going to be detrimental to his long term prospects.
I would not be shocked if Parssinen was included in a Smith deal to obtain a better return. There are several playoff teams that need both PK and C depth. I suspect no one is willing to give s a 2nd for Smith yet. The two of them might bring a 2, 3 and a good young LD.

Why were they panicking in the first place like it's some young rebuilding team.

Hey! We don't suck again!

It's almost like I want to believe they are good. But deep down I know the truth...

This roster is better than last year's (with Fox). The big difference is last year's Panarin/Laf/Trochek are infinitely worse.

it didn't reflect in his stats last night or the last few but - I feel like this stretch has been the most heavy/physical Zibanejad has ever played? he was a dog on the boards the last few games and very physically engaged. I don't even remember him like this in his pre-concussion days.

he really deserves a lot of credit for his huge turnaround. he went from one of the worst regulars in the year to a good driver of offense at least. I still wish we got more from him but he's made some serious strides.

Imagine that line was the best 5v5 scoring line in hockey again this year? There's still time...

It is obviously possible but (similar to when we got Borgen in Kakko trade) what we've heard is that he's a target of the front office.

I definitely remember Zibanejad being quite physical and engaged in board battles here in seasons prior to 23-24.

They need to break up Laffy and Panarin.

put him with Othmann and Parsnip.

Cuylle JTM Zibs
Panarin Tro Berard
Othmann Parsnip Laffy
Brodz Carrick Rempe

You could alternate Othmann and Berard

Why some posts come through styled as if a response to someone but without any indications that it's a response (I do have some folks on ignore but I do see them (without what they wrote) copied.

I don’t know if it’s a long term fix but I’ll take credit as pretty much the only poster here who suggested it might help Mika before we actually traded for Miller.

you weren't the only one
