Rent free is what Xhekaj is doing. He can head shot any Sen he wants with no fear of retribution!

Suzuki is a fantastic player: Great on 200ft, has kind of a mean streak, great captain and virtually undestructible
Glad we have him in Montréal

Was Brady even playing last night? All I remember him doing in the game was letting Drake Batherson skate right up the middle into the slot and score.
That’s the issue with having an enforcer who plays defence.

You’re right, he should be playing in goal. All I remember him doing in the game was letting Drake Batherson skate right up the middle into the slot and score.

It’s funny how he and his brother were injured in those orchestrated fights against Canada, which only served to motivate Canada in the final.Yes he was. Didn't have a very good game.
He's missed practices recently due to the hip injury he suffered during the Four Nations.

You say this like you don’t have a 4 page long post history about him lmao talk about “rent free”All I remember him doing in the game was letting Drake Batherson skate right up the middle into the slot and score.

NyQuil said:I'd take Xhekaj on my team.Big, motivated, plays physical. Just needs a little seasoning and to pick his spots a bit better.Shows promise on the defensive side of the game.In a vacuum right now he's probably worth a very late 2nd rounder? 3rd?
He's the 10th center in the league point wise and plays a very good 200 feet game. How is he a 2C? What the hell is a 1C for you? You realize theres 32 teams in the league so by definition there HAS to be 32 #1C... But Suzuki isn't one of them right?Sucks to be wasting precious prime years without playoff games. Would be a fantastic 2C on a cup contender like a dylan larkin.
I only noticed him and Stutlze in their first powerplay. Other than that... nowhere to be found. Was Brady even playing last night?

So you have a biased selective memory to protect yourself from the harsh truthAll I remember him doing in the game was letting Drake Batherson skate right up the middle into the slot and score.

If there was a draft among all centers in the league, the first 32 drafted would be #1 centers. How is it so hard to grasp? There may be 32 centers who are #1 on the depth chart of their teams, but not all of them are contenders. I’m not sure I can put an exact number on the number of contenders this year, but it’s definitely under 10. That might be what he was getting at. Then again there are also centers who are #2 on their team’s depth chart because of who’s ahead of them, and they’d be #1 on most other teams. Examples I can think of are Leon Draisaitl right now and Evgeni Malkin recently.
Of course, the person you responded to can feel free to correct me.

Why have subjective bullshit criterias like "#1 C but only on a contending team"?
#1C means #1C, not #1CButOnlyOnACoNTeNDeRTeAMoNlyBeCaUsEiSaYSo.
Oh and Nick Suzuki WILL be a #1C when Montreal will contend in 2-3 years. Mark my words.
Well only time will tell I guess. But how many contending team is there every years? Must be close to 10. So by that definition, Suzuki should be very close to be a #1C on a contending team. The person you replied to specifically said “on a contending team.” That’s all I was trying to point out. If the Habs do become a contender in 2-3 years (remember that not all rebuilds actually work) then I agree. He’ll be #1 on the depth chart.
