Subban was almost 2 years between signing + trade.

This would be 4 months.

There's not many defensemen that can score over 50Pts in a season.
If Winnipeg traded Dustin Byfuglien their would be a riot in downtown Winnipeg.

I seen first hand what this guy can do. Byfuglien tore up the Flyers in the 2010 SC finals when he was with Chicago.

I wish the Flyers had a big dominating defensemen like Byfuglien.

He's not only unique. If you've followed jets since Maurice has coached, you'd see his best years are the next 4 at least. He isn't that over weight pic from way back
Jets are full of late bloomers. Look no further than chef and his development. Whatever Chevy's guys are looking for I like. Real curious if Stanley turns out.

Although he is my favourite Jet we have too many quality RD compared to LD. Trouba has had issues but management seems ok on keeping him so he could move up to #1 RD. Myers would not fetch a #1 LD and can play the role of #2 RD.
Big Buff is unique but I would consider trading him only if we got a top self #1 LD in return. Quality for quality. One for one. If the player is not Buff's equal don't bother.

Trouba + for McDonagh +
is more likely solution for 1LD

He seems like his endurance is better than ever. He makes mistakes, but picks his spots better than ever. Maurice has been great for him.
