I'd like to take everyone's attention and place it back on the fact that a certain little lady made an appearance in the GTD and thus assured us this win. She's the REAL1st star of the game today, followed by helle in a distant 2nd.

Let's not tempt fate by excluding her from any GDT ever again

4/5 Chekov's for the penalty kills and for the goaltending.

Helle' is an artist... an inspiring artist... with his less than supportive Jets...

Helle' offers no apologies for the difficulties this poses to opponents, insisting that the role of an artist is to respond to questions, but to answer them with nothing easy... and thus to inspire others...

That was a needed win, but god, was it ugly. Thank goodness Hellebuyck plays for the Jets. The guys still can't manage a puck well. Way too much scramble in their own end, and they fold quickly under pressure.
Ugly????
Wow … why don’t you give some credit to the Rangers. That’s a top team and they are the hottest team since December.
Shots on net don’t mean a thing … it’s the scoreboard. Jets never trailed in the game and they cashed in on their chances. Igor make some great saves too it could have been 7 or 8-1.
I guess you forgot the Jets played yesterday.
Give it a rest … nobody wants to read your negativity about the Jets EVERY game.

we will take that win, helle plays best on little rest, our stars finished their chances tonight, need a lot more from the bottom six what did they have like 1 shot attempt? I think saku would lose control of the puck if it was glued to his stick

Lots of low risk chances, I thought the Jets did a pretty good job of protecting the triangle. Rags had way more jump obviously.

Schiefele with a couple of grade A turnovers but he was excellent offensively.

Pionk was assertive and really physical. I hope he can build on that, peak Neal would be like a top 4 pickup at the deadline.

I liked Ehlers a lot more tonight, and Dubois wasn't really noticeable but had some nice chances and his goal.

Helle was great but again, I think that was probably one of the easier 50 save games he'll ever have.

@Jet! My good sir! This gets my "Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa" o' the night.

Dubios was absolutely monstering ce soir -- I think he wore down 1/3 of the Rags tonight and flat-out battered another 1/3 into submission. And then the KFC /55 axis and the Pionk / Ehlers express took care of the rest -- leaving Tonight's Sponsor, 66%, for Helle.

My 2 AM thotz:

- Helle, right?
- I would hate to play against a Dubois en feu, part 1: he just bulldozes at will and with the puck even, and then he makes a pass
- Pionk has now played 2 good games in a row, and that is a streak worth celebrating
- Apples can skate at least
- The SakMan needs a prosthetic stick, with a rubber-attracting magnet
- JMo a bit slow -- but snatching a scoring record from The Big Man will do that

- Barron, Wtf?
- Biiiiiiiiiiig Logan got less crap with time. Big tree gonna rust
- 2022 Old Guy Ringer Pauly Walnuts has little to fear from 2023 Old Guy Milestone Sam Gagner
- Lowry stops like a milk truck
- Kuhlman has a nice line in dinking it out along the boards
- Reports of the demise of Soft Nik Ehlers are perhaps greatly exaggerated
- I would hate to play against a Dubois en feu, part 1: Three guys hanging off him and two more guys backing off him until he's literally drawn the entire Rags squad to the hashmark -- and then he makes a pass
- Helle counts as a Jet tho, right? Even tho he's a goalie and good?
- DeMelo can clap 'em
- Sheifele taketh away, and Scheifele giveth
- Connor mostly giveth
- And we didn't even just find Helle lying in the middle of a Selkirk ditch with an expired lotto ticket and a wet port-tipped cigarillo and then he was magically made into this great goalie the Jets don't deserve, right?
- Wheeler is too tall really to just sorta flip a puck over, Miller
- Shesterkin, you young scamp, that Connor shot DID get past you and IS actually in the net, so pretending that you've never heard the term "goal against" and that some Mr Tickle in the stands just plucked that snapper out of midair, well that ain't gonna fly, sir
- Dubois was very muchly noticeable in this game. Oh yes. Just like that Zamboni driver and part-time accountant Connor Hellerby or whatever who just lucked out in goal again for those ingrate Jets who tripped over him on the way to the arena...

And thus endeth the lesson, 4-1
