Trottier loses many of his best seasons due to not hitting the 15% PK threshold.
Exactly. He didn't get a ton of ice time on the penalty kill (when he was in his prime). If we drop that requirement, he's around +13%, which is a very strong result.

Penalized for being on a team that did not need for him to do that? It makes perfect sense.
raw R-on, R-off for everyone can be consulted if it is one is interested in, an effort is made to try to see if it is by people just being so good offensively that they achieved it.

But if we end up with Lemieux very high because he scored a lot of points on the PK while removing peak Trottier season, maybe it can be rethinking (in the sense that it was overthinking to start with)
