No, it was in the World Junior Championships. The Tournament was held in Ottawa from December 26, 2024 to January 5, 2025. Team Canada placed 5th. It was a poor tournament for Canada this year. The Leaf represents Canada (not Leafs) and yes they were eliminated in the Quarter Final with a loss to Czechia.
Cowan as well as Yager each had 3 points to lead the team in scoring.
