So who is out there? IMO this is a huge pkg and I expect to see some decent names available
Probably a bit rich for Nelson. Maybe swap Cowen with Danford?Brock Nelson, maybe?
Brock Nelson would cost more. He’s a fantastic player, and proven playoff performer. Can’t see Lou wanting Robertson.Probably a bit rich for Nelson. Maybe swap Cowen with Danford?
Did someone say waiver wire pickup?A late first in the draft after this one plus an often healthy scratched third liner who struggles to score and a winger prospect who self-destructed at the World Juniors is a huge package?
no thanksProbably a bit rich for Nelson. Maybe swap Cowen with Danford?

You guys are overvaluing rentals and undervaluing the prospects. Nelson is a good player but he's not a superstar. No reason Nelson should get a better return than Horvat or Lindholmno thanks
Imo the return proposed here is of less quality than the Horvat trade. The first isn’t as high, the nhl player isn’t much, and the prospect is suspect. The Lindholm deal had a lot more moving parts, so far more difficult to compare. You guys are overvaluing rentals and undervaluing the prospects. Nelson is a good player but he's not a superstar. Horvat was traded at what? 27 years old? Nelson is 33 Nobody is signing Nelson to a 7 or 8 year extension after this.Imo the return proposed here is of less quality than the Horvat trade. Perhaps a late first, Robertson is sometimes scratched and it includes a winger prospect who lead team Canada in scoring at the WJC.A late first in the draft after this one plus an often healthy scratched third liner who struggles to score and a winger prospect who self-destructed at the World Juniors is a huge package?
He’s a bit tough on Cowan since that team was an absolute mess this year but Robertson is more of the 13f then sometimes scratched. He’s more of that guy teams sign to a 1 year two way deal in hopes he can come up and do something when guys go down due to injury.Perhaps a late first, Robertson is sometimes scratched and it includes a winger prospect who lead team Canada in scoring at the WJC.
How is that a better return than Horvat OR Lindholm? lolYou guys are overvaluing rentals and undervaluing the prospects. Nelson is a good player but he's not a superstar. No reason Nelson should get a better return than Horvat or Lindholm

Kadri lol
Getting 3 points in the tournament isn’t helping your case.Perhaps a late first, Robertson is sometimes scratched and it includes a winger prospect who lead team Canada in scoring at the WJC.
Sure it is , he and Brendon Yeager had the most points for Canada in the WJC. That is leading the team in scoring which is my case.Getting 3 points in the tournament isn’t helping your case.
