Best shakes to help lose weight

  • Xenforo Cloud has upgraded us to version 2.3.6. Please report any issues you experience.
There is no magic bullet for weight loss. Shakes are a temporary quick fix that often end in people gaining back all of the weight plus some once they start chewing again. They are also chemical laden and almost always sneak in a sugar or worse a artificial sweetener

Here is how to lose weight:
1- Exercise more
2. Eat at home. You know what's in your food and you can control your portions. Restaurant and fast food tastes good because it's fat and salt laden. Human nature of not wanting to waste leads to one eating more. (more on this in #4
3. Eat way more vegetables and beans. They are low calories very nutritious filler goods
4. Avoid pasta, rice, and potato. These are high calorie low nutrient cheap fillers and generally what a restaurant fills a plate.
5. Forget anything you were taught about nutrition in the 80s and 90s. The body runs on either fat or sugar, Your body wants natural fat for fuel; eggs meat (dark meat chicken is better than breast) olive oil.
6. Eat like a caveman. The less processed your food the better. Read the ingredients of what you are buying.
If it's not super simple, don't buy it

any "lose" is sugar and seed oil is inflammatory
Also one should get vitamins from their food rather than having it supplemented into shakes or breads and cereals

All outstanding advice, and one other key tip for weight loss is:

Eat your calories, don't drink your calories.

You'd be amazed at how caloric sugary drinks, beer, and yes even shakes are. The fluids themselves go right through you, but the calories stick. Switching from a soda drinker to a seltzer drinker can help you lose a material amount of weight relatively quickly, and it will also keep you better hydrated and with more sustainable energy. And it's cheaper and every bit as refreshing.

Bingo!
And since you brought it up, soda/cokes/soft drinks are one of the worst things out there. Loaded with chemicals, acids, and sugars. Especially HFCS.
Quitting soda was one of the best things I ever did
