Back when I lived in Edmonton (pre-2004) it was Funky Pickle or nothing. I don't know if they're the same quality as they were back then or not, but hot diggity, I loved their pizza more than I love wearing pants.
pizza 99 is my fav
Parkallen Restaurant, 109 St. NW. Incredible Lebanese pizza; still crave it and I haven't lived in Edmonton in over a decade.
I just checked out their menu and didn't see any pizzas. Are you talking about zaatar?
Famoso's on Jasper Ave or in South Edmonton Common, it's more of a authentic Italian type pizza. Fire-roasted as they say.
The OP specifically states in the title, Best Pizza in EDMONTON. lawl...so many people wanting to itch out their favorite places from all over Canada.
Oh. No. You. Didnt!
That ignited my tastebuds something fierce!!!
Now I have to google a Lebanese restaurant in Calgary!
Any help, Rin?
my favorite is florida pizza out in devon. for the longest time no other pizza place could survive in that town including the big guys like pizza hut.
I know the topic is "Edmonton Pizza", but I'm new to Millwoods. Does anybody have any suggestions for pizza, (or other good restaurants) down here in the hood?
Thanks
Woodvale pizza also known as hillview pub! you won't be disappointedI know the topic is "Edmonton Pizza", but I'm new to Millwoods. Does anybody have any suggestions for pizza, (or other good restaurants) down here in the hood?

Here's the issue: Funky Pickle isn't real pizza. Not in either the Italian or Greek sense (or Chicago or New York for that matter). I was so angry the day they threw one up on the university campus. Typical Hippie move to replace a popular chain with a niche chain. It's bland, has essentially no sauce, they undercook the cheese and rely entirely on whacked-out toppings to sell pizza.
Pizza of last resort.
In the city: Dallas Pizza
Out of town: Gus' Pizza (Hinton, and order the freaking Dry Ribs)
Italian Style (I'm a more Greek-style fan): Famoso
