Between Lavi and Hitchcock for me. Probably Lavi, but man was that 03/04 team a blast to watch.

Just think, if Desjardins didn't have that game of catch with his kid, Torts doesn't win a cup and fades into obscurity. Flyers might have won the cup, and we wouldn't have to deal with him today.

Anyone born after 90 would have 1 choice. Born in the early 80's it expands. Born before that it expands more.

Shero. He's probably the only coach who has gotten into the HoF mainly as a result of his time with the Flyers. Two Cups and three straight finals with an expansion team is pretty good too.

Funny thing is Lavi has had a similar career to Torts.

4 yrs Carolina, wins Cup after an old team literally got to rest for a season, fired 5th year
4 yrs Philly, 2008 was example of underachieving team (61 points in 57 games under him) that got hot at the right time
6 yrs Nash, probably his best coaching stint
3 yrs Wash
2nd year in NYR, good bet to get fired if they don't turn it around.
