Best defenseman on your team this season

Colton Parayko is on pace to have career highs in points (45 point pace) and minutes (24:23 per game).

Not bad for a guy some had foolishly called one of the league's worst contracts not that long ago.
Having him on my fantasy team was a wise decision! 👌

For the Flyers it's Sanheim, who else!

Ekblad has had an offensive resurgence no doubt..but id give it to Forsling

still averages over a minute more on EV, and half a minute on the PK. Ekblad gets all the PP time so that's why their overall TOI average is roughly the same.

Not to mention Forsling is a +20 when the next best on the team is a +9. He's still our greatest defensive presence.

That being said they are both carrying our backend hard.. cause it's a massive drop in quality after them.

Forsling is still consistently steady, but he's been a little off this season, despite having a +20. That's why I gave it to Ek, he's been great on the pp and although he isn't scoring a ton of points, he's moving the puck well and allowing the other 4 to do their jobs. A better ppqb than Monty ever was. And he's still great at ES and PK, leading the team in TOI. I have no doubt Forsling will turn it around at some point, and then the title will no doubt revert back to him.

Faber. Brodin, Spurgeon & Middleton have also been solid, but Faber clearly the alpha. Hopefully Zeev gives him a run for his $ in the coming years

Mackenzie Weegar, and it's not even close.

This guy has been stapled alongside two fringe NHL defensemen all season long (Miromanov and Hanley), and still wins his matchups with ease despite playing nearly 24 minutes a night for a not so good hockey team.

He still doesn't get the respect he deserves - and his omission from the four nations team is a good example of that.

Ekholm has been the best overall dman we've had since Pronger. Nurse having a career year himself, but the Oilers would fall apart immediately if they lost Ek for an extended period.

Don't have it on hand but our record after trading for him is stupid. Guy was a godsend and that was one of the best trades the Oilers have made all-time.

Canes no surprise it's still Slavin, but Orlov has honestly not been far behind him. Orlov has had an incredible season and will probably be able to get a pretty big contract as a UFA this offseason.

Loved his game a couple weeks ago against NJ. Dude plays with an edge and brings the offense. Some team is going to step up to get him in the offseason.
