Agreed.. maybe a swap of goldobin for hudon. Would give both a fresh start. Their nhl stats are nearly the exact same.

The Habs need to open a roster spot for when Byron returns so they can't take on another player. They could opt to waive Peca since he gets 1.3 next year so doubt any team would take him.
Hudon has pretty good hands, works hard and has shown that he can finish in the past. He is not as slow as some people say he is.
The biggest problem with Hudon is his lack of vision when he has the puck... He is a turnover machine in the offensive zone, possession dies on his stick. Always seem to send a dangerous pass in the middle that gets picked off and results in a 3 on 2 the other way.
Not sure it is fixable, unfortunately.

I always liked Hudon. I think in another situation and working on his skating he can be a real solid top-9 comtributor. Unfortunately, at this point, it won’t be here and his skating pushed him down the depth chart even though his other tools are all there.

Hudon is much slower this year then last year its weird. Maybe hes hurt or doesnt want to play for Julien anymore. Cant blame him they are doing everything to break is confidence.
Last year he honestly was better then Drouin for most of the year. If you take into account quality of linemates, PP time, defensively was much better then and more physical. He also hit a shitload of post last year. Its the ultimate sell low..and I would keep him if him bergevin.

No, I think Michou stated it perfectly. It's bad turnovers, not his skating, that has him being a healthy scratch so often this season... and depth of course.
