The puck could have absolutely helped contribute to him being concussed. But what we do know is the contact from Bennett's fist was the final straw.

If such mild contact puts a plyer in the hospital, its clear they severely injured before and should not have been playing.

Having now seen this in both normal speed and slow-mo, that's 2mins for goalie interference. Not suspension worthy.

Also, there's no elbow, Bennett's glove makes the first contact and then forearm but he doesn't seem to punch or throw his arm to amplify the force.

I'd say refs missed 2min penalty but league got it right with no suspension.

To add, Marc Savard is the Leafs assistant coach LOL so we all knew there was zero chance Bennett gets punished for this

Kind of wild that Colin Campbell still has a job after those emails got leaked

Not only that but now he has even more power throughout the league and he's already been caught red handed trying to actively retaliate against employees who penalized his son during games. And we don't think there is an issue and a major conflict of interest now with that same son as the AGM of a franchise that seems to always find its way into this kind of controversial shit and somehow always seems to get by with the league doing nothing?
