I think he's referring more to the fact shooters tend to go high glove side therefore it makes sense for him to put his glove high to the glove side eliminating the preferred target area of most shooters.

yeah, i understood the reasoning, maybe just didnt explain myself well? as he goes down gravity and momentum fight against his arm position (force it down). this opens up high glove side (at least in my head) initially shooters wouldnt see the hole though.

standard goaltenders show you the opening and take it away; scrivens shows that its covered, then gives it to you.

Two years ago when Reimer was on a tear.....I stated that he had major holes in his game on here and I got ripped hard for it.....at that time I also said I liked Rynnas as their best prospect. I still am sticking with this thought.

I love his technique as he is a big body goalie who moves very well.....I also like that he is getting huge minutes now in the AHL.

I never mixed up Reimer and Rynnas.

I know that Reimer is having a great start to his NHL hockey Career. My concern is that he does not track the puck that well, and he has average feet.

On the other hand Rynnas is a large goalie is who has good feet and seems to have gotten better at tracking the puck. It is a much different game over here then what he is is used to. He is progressing well. I would like to see both goalies in a Leaf uniform soon.

Scrivens looked a little nervous, but played well against a pitiful Habs squad. What really impressed me was his post game interview, seems like a good guy.
