Hey all. Long time browser, first time poster. Thought I'd start out with a fun thread.
My co-workers and I (I work in the only craft brewery in Wpg) were trying to come up with some fake beer names, based on current or former Winnipeg Jets players. We managed just a few good ones (Ale Hawerchug, Alex-Amber Beer-Mistrov) before we gave up. What can you guys come up with? Perhaps extend the list to the entire NHL.

Your just trying to get us to do your work for you!

Minhas Creek? Haha, betting it's Half-pints. Careful though, Ft. Garry and Minhas both have a presence in Winnipeg and they both claim to be craft brewers, though neither is. Minhas is in fact not a brewer at all, but a distributor of a series of OEM beers from the US.... It IS halfpints, right?

What do you do there? I'm living outside of Canada and have been looking for a brewer in Canada who would be interested in exporting their products. Are you, or do you know that guy in your company by any chance?

PS, I have the best name ever and I'm holding it back until I get my info:sarcasm:

I also find it interesting that, in your list, there's a beer named "Delirium Noël".

They've done our work for us already.

You bet, it's Half Pints. I typically run the bottling line, but we're such a small company that just about anything that needs to be done, gets done. You'd want to get a hold of Zach for things like sales/exporting though. I know there is quite a bit of red tape involved, and we have yet to ship outside the country. Our footprint in Canada is steadily growing though.
