More wins and losses from what team though? The current team that they ice? Or the team full of drafted players who are in their second to third year in the NHL and Bedard/Vlasic are in their prime?just want to see it translate into more wins than losses before giving them credit for knowing what they're doing development wise, they kept Korchinski in the NHL last year instead of sending him back which proved to be idiotic in hindsight and at the time plenty of people said he should go back...personally think Rinzel is the real prize and will end up being the best one out of the group but most pipelines probably have a Crevier/Allan type

Gavin McKenna and 4 firsts... sure. This hits on a question I have for hawks fans. Purely hypothetical and very unlikely to happen but is there a number that, if offer sheeted you would walk away from and take the 4 first rounders?
I don't see any reason for Bedard to consider signing long-term with Hawks
Why should he commit to an organization that appears to have no plan to support him or direction as a franchise?
Mikheyev brings nothing to the offensive zone and Donato works best with other grinders who crash the net.I know that many folks seem to think Bertuzzi should be on the first line but the truth is Bert does very little to give Bedard more space or allow him to get scoring chances. The two players work great on the PP where Bert can park himself in the blue paint but at even strength those opportunities are too rare. Not to mention Bert's defensive game which is average at best - 91 and 98 need a linemate who can keep up, play a physical game and who is very good along the boards. Unfortunately, Hawks don't have that player on the roster but I think Mikheyev or Donato or Dickenson would be preferred over Bert. The current first line spends far too much time chasing. Am I the only one of this opinion?
Keep telling yourself that... but get used to Bedard chasing rather than playing offense.Don't let Bobby's weird distaste for disappointing ex-Leafs distract you from the fact that Bertuzzi has been by far the best fit on Bedard's wing of anyone they've tried there in his career
Wow, exactly like when Donato and Mikheyev have been on his wingKeep telling yourself that... but get used to Bedard chasing rather than playing offense.
Donato should be gone the 2nd anyone offers a 2nd round pick for him. No point putting him there nowI know that many folks seem to think Bertuzzi should be on the first line but the truth is Bert does very little to give Bedard more space or allow him to get scoring chances.
