bias aside, team needs aside...who will most likely have the best career out of this draft - caleb, maye, daniels, mhj, nabers, etc...have to go with mhj right? seems like the guy people are penciling in for most likely to have hall of fame career

For #1 and #9 the Bears have 3 groups to focus on

Top QB Tier
Williams, Maye and Daniels

Top WR Tier
Harrison, Nabers, Odunze and Coleman

Top EDGE Tier
Turner, Latu, Verse and Robinson

Personally, I think all 3 groups are close in talent and Bears either walk away with

QB + WR or QB + EDGE with our picks is what I would say is most likely

Wildcard would be if they trade down and go Harrison + Edge while keeping Fields

Sounds like Dolphins are officially out on Wilkins. That means there will likely be 3 very good 3T available in FA this year. Expecting Poles to put a fair bit of money toward that.

But back to reality, Mel Kiper is clearly doing the Bears a favor pumping Fields' tires, or, more likely, setting up an obvious talking point on a low return. Who is paying a first for Fields?

Darnell Mooney has a 1,000 yard season. Just because the qb can’t make more than one read doesn’t mean he became bad

It feels to me like Mooney has had plenty of opportunities to step up and he hasn't done that. He struggles to get open.

I'm not saying to dump him - but he's no longer a big priority.

Darnold to Carolina trade is probably the comp return for Fields, 2nd and a 4th or something, which is they go QB at 1 and pass on MHJ then having an early 2nd would be nice to address WR with it being a good class

Steelers and Broncos are teams that may also be interested in Fields. He is upgrade over what they have now

If Bears can get a bit of a bidding war between a few teams that should help with Fields value

Getting a 1st doesn't seem realistic unless Bears give up Panthers 2nd in deal IMO

To Bears = 13th overall
To Raiders = QB Justin Fields and Panthers 2025 2nd

Could be type of deal possible as Raiders want to make playoffs next year and probably would have been playoff team with Fields at QB for them this year
