The Packers defense is bad, but the tactic of sitting back in a zone and having the QB try to find holes in it has historically been very effective against Fields. We'll see how he does today.

If JJ and Gordon are out, the Packers' offense will cause issues.
With both DJ and Kmet not 100%, Fields facing the Packers zone is likely the reason the Bears will lose. Flus gave Fields the goal of 200 (2 TDs, 0 sacks, 0 TOs). I expect Field's number this game will be more like 132.

I guess the question is how much is it worth getting one of those players versus having your pick of those players? I did just get annoyed reading a Packers article about how this could be Jordan Love's signature moment, so I'm leaning more towards winning than losing right now.
Yeah, the further down the pick, the higher the risk that the guy left is someone the Bears doesn't have a high-ish first round grade on. If they have the pick of the litter, that's obviously preferable if you trust their scouting team.

Saints are spanking the Falcons right now. Jets are beating the Patriots but that score is close. If both scores hold up, with a Bears loss, they will finish 9th overall in the draft.

Team was 8-3 and cruising to division title

They then finished year 1-5 and now missed playoffs

Epic collapse

Shine has certainly faded on Lawrence
With 8 minutes to go they had a 3rd and goal from the 1 and turned it over on downs. Final drive ended with two throws over receivers heads. He throws a good long ball, but seems wildly inaccurate otherwise.

Steelers fans can't stand Tomlin now. All he does is stay having his teams over .500 and into the dance. Time and time again. Give him his flowers.

Bucs shutout Panthers

Win NFC South

Saints/Falcons both eliminated
That fanbase is in pain. With Stroud doing what he's doing and this season, it would have been painful even if they had the #1 overall pick coming up. Maybe they can get a receiver with their second round pick, but that O-line is horrendous. They "only" have to fix their entire offense, but Luvu, Burns, Brown are all about to get paid.
No JJ.

Mooney finished the season with his fewest yards per target since his rookie year, 4 targets per game, less than 30 yards per game. I think he had a bad season even when he was targeted with catchable balls, but that man more than anyone can probably point to the issue of Fields' not throwing the ball.

I think he lost somewhere in the range of $30M for his next contract this season.

He's been injured this entire season. He had a bad enough sprain that they sat him against Carolina, and I don't think there is any way that had healed today.

Jax was lucky to be in the position they were, thanks to Tenn punter fumbling a perfect hike and THill throwing a 4thQ int. Lawrence missed a wide open C Ridley deep late in the game that would have been a TD.

Bears can secure the number 9 pick with an L. The 1 and 9 would be incredibe.
And help the Packers make the playoffs? There's something wrong with kids today. Week 1 Love proved he's a Bears owner. I hope he sells his shares today.
