I like the refs were slow on the whistle on that 1st down there. They let the Bears get possession in case it was a fumble. But I don't agree that was downing, he just threw it to the rb but missed

Did scouting report say Bagent had weak arm, cause today he really hasn't had the chance to step into a throw with D-line in his face alot.

Bears desperately need a DE, OT, WR, FS (Eddie Jackson is all but gone) and now probably a QB. Just still so many holes. Probably another 2 years or so. The good news is they SHOULD at least get 2 blue chip prospects this draft. But they need ALOT of help still.

If Chicago gets the top two picks and sticks with fields, they will be able to trade them for a massive, massive franchise altering haul

I’m not the biggest Williams fan, and I believe in Fields.

Williams certainly gave people reason to have pause yesterday, regarding rushing to replace Fields with him. But it appears there's more than Williams to choose from. I just ran across a 2024 mock (link below) having 5 of the top 6 picks be QB's.

I hope Fields comes back soon, and we can see more from him. This is all very murky right now, any way you look at it.

Belief is fading. I think we all have to come to the realization, he's not Poles pick, and he's not going to get a 3rd coaching staff, which should be in place next season.

They need line help but nobody is that good or important in that role. Wright has been good and is going to grow, their issue is terrible centers and health at guard.

Having Harrison Jr. Would be a huge impact to the team.

Even if trading down was a good idea, there isn't a GM alive that would trade down from first overall in a draft already preemptively being named after a QB prospect. That level of spotlight would be intense.

If we're getting first overall and Williams is in the draft, we're drafting him.

Be realistic. Most will turn out to be in the Carr, Dak, Cousins caliber. Which is fine if they hit their ceiling Early allowing your to build a roster for their 4 year rookie contract. After that, good luck if you pay them big time bucks.

On Fields - Xray is negative, and he gets an MRI tomorrow. Hopefully he's ok and can play.
