Have you seen our WRs try to catch an uncontested pass? Why can't they just throw it into the proper endzone?!

Oh man I forgot about those awful calls. They call two soft PI calls on the bears and let washington mug pettis in the EZ. Love it
They have zero play makers.Three separate drives Chicago had first and goal but couldn’t score. Brutal.
Dont forget about the play last week where they let harrison smith grab the reveiver's arms in the endzone and also didnt call PI.Oh man I forgot about those awful calls.
If that's going to be the standard, then surely the Pettis one needs to be called.
Ridiculous.
I’m not talking about just the last two weeks, or even last two years.Theyre a team in a rebuild and have shown the past 2 weeks that they have the potential to be good if the develop and add some pieces. No guarantee its going to happen, but i'm cautiously optimistic.
I partially agree. His line and receivers are ass. At the same time, he still has to execute, eg overthrowing a 5-yard pass to a wide open receiver in the end zone. Overall, he’s at least showing glimpses, which is an improvement.Any fancy stats for quarterbacks that adjusts their ratings for the "dogshitedness" of their receivers? I have to think that would be worth 10-20 points in Fields' case. Between the offensive line and his receivers, he has no f***ing chance to succeed.

Do OL and WR's get a rating adjustment for shitty play from QB? Fields is as much a problem as the WR's or OL in the struggles of this offense
11 games left for Fields to show something more than the occasional flash (A drive or two a game) or else the Bears need to move on
I wouldn't say Fields is as much a problem as WR or OL but he is part of the problem. You see stats about the number of sacks, number of pressures and time until QB releases the football but the most telling stat, which I have yet to see, would be 'time until pressure' because I think in a lot of the pass plays Fields simply holds the ball too long (>3 sec) allowing time for a pressure or a sack.Do OL and WR's get a rating adjustment for shitty play from QB? Unfortunately having a high draft pick or picks and gobs of money to spend is no guarantee of future success for this team. It's been 37 years since the vaunted 85 team....and how many playoff wins in that span?
The Bears and pretty much all Chicago sports are about as low as I can remember. Until someone actually does something as in real results I just don't get excited anymore.
Yeah, I can't remember a time in which at least one team wasn't worth watching. The Bulls are the best we've got and they're a bubble team.Unfortunately having a high draft pick or picks and gobs of money to spend is no guarantee of future success for this team.
