You're just making crap up to support your failed argument. Stafford will be a hall of famer, and that he did it despite spending 12 years on the flipping Lions is a major credit to him.
What... no he won't. To call him underrated and think he's a HOFer is wild.

Not every guy who starts for a decade in this era throwing a ton is gonna be hofers. You'd have to put in 10 guys QB's from the 2010s era if he also is in.

Rivers, Eli, Brady, Brees, Peyton, Rosthesburger, Wilson, Ryan, Rodgers, maybe even Flacco is on that real ground. No clearly there's the tier of those who actually are HOFers.

Mitch Trubisky being the highest rated passer in Bears history has more to do with the era he played in than his ability compared to other QBs.

Judge Stafford against his peers, like Brady, Peyton Manning, Brees, Roethlisberger and Wilson.

Stafford commits too many turnovers. Simple as that.

Love the aggression from the Bills on that drive, exactly what you need to do against the Chiefs.

I dont think stafford is that great, but hes a pretty clear tier above cutler in my eyes.

He did it in 12 years on the Lions because of garbage time.
The whole game is garbage time when you play on the Lions. That's just a lazy argument you're making.

Look what he's done these last 2 weeks when it's counted. 154 QBR last week. 121 QBR today. He stopped his team from choking the game away.

This is exactly why they got rid of Goff in favor of him. If Goff is still their QB, Tom Brady is going to the NFC championship game next week.

I doubt they score the first 27pts with goff. Maybe half that.

He didn't stop them... he was apart of the choking the game away. It's so odd to see this disassociation of him. He was the one who threw 2 way off incompletions after Tampa's first TD in the 4th resulting in a punt 3 and out. He was the snap fumbler, who could of picked up the ball with his centers misexchange. He completed only 2 passes (in the 4th) until the game was tied up. He's apart of that and has been like that his career.

He's a greater comeback player than with a lead guy, He makes great accurate bombs but too many misses on underneath plays to stay on top like a elite QB would be. It's not, "the lions" fault absent from him.

There were 4 major fumbles that were a big part of helping the Bucs, and he was only loosely associated with one of them. And then there was Ramsey getting burned by Evans as well.

Eli Manning, Rivers, Matt Ryan and Flacco are not HOFers.

Shit I'm not a fan of Stafford and I think he's better than Flacco.

Stafford is better than Flacco but worse than Rivers, Eli and Ryan.
You didnt watch Eli much I take it? Very average QB who had a few charmed playoff runs/Super bowls. He doesn't belong in this discussion.
The only guy among these up there with Stafford is Rivers. Rivers is probably ahead of Stafford for now. But Stafford is still writing his story, and his story post-Lions has been super so far.

I did watch a lot of Eli Manning. It's hard to take Stafford seriously when he spent most of his career with Detroit and they had to throw because they were behind and had no RBs.

Eli Manning has 372 TD passes in his career.

And that's his fault how? Jesus dude. He had no control over them picking him #1 in the draft. And playing for the Lions isn't an advantage as you're somehow trying to spin this.

1. Losing franchise, no pressure
2. Megatron
3. No RBs, have to throw to move the ball at all
4. Jim Caldwell was a decent coach
5. Crappy defenses, have to throw a lot because they're behind.

The Lions were a good place during Stafford's career to put up meaningless passing stats.

Also, Stafford turns the ball over too much.

You're just talking about Eli Manning... who showed you do still have control over if you want to go to the team gonna take you 1st overall.

But the way HOFs work... Eli will get in, just like it's a foregone conclusion sat Marleau or Fleury will get in. It's not always about consistency or stats when big other factors will impact it. Championship wins or breaking records matter more than they should.

Him getting traded to a contender and immediately putting up a career year blows your argument to pieces.
