This is such a relief to hear. All the smoke made it seem likely, but yeah, just a relief to see such an immense upgrade relative to who he is replacing. Not to mention along with Thuney and maybe one more OL addition via the draft.
Great off season so far.

Not really sure what they go after next. DL needs help, but DL in FA is really expensive, so I don't know if they'll just punt that either to the draft or even to the next season.

Mostly kidding…. And I don’t have the slightest clue what his actual cost would be and am just throwing shit at the wall.
With CW on his rookie deal there has to be someway to make it make sense though, I’d think.

Javon Kinlaw just got $15M per year. Kinlaw has not been good, so the fact that he's getting that number may signal that the DL market is going to be rough.

I know the DBs will be much more involved trying to outsmart the offense in Allen's scheme, but I honestly have no clue about the LBs. I'm guessing they'll sign someone to replace Sanborn, but nothing pricey.
Safety is absolutely necessary. I think Brisker is one big hit from being out of football entirely.
DL is needed. Even if they get someone like Chase Young, that at least would let them walk into the draft someone confident in having filled some holes.

Some crazy numbers flying around. Dan Moore to Titans for $50M guaranteed over 4 years, Carlton Davis 3 years $60M (less than $40M guaranteed), Kinlaw to the Commanders for $30M guaranteed over three years.

That’s insane.
Like he wasn’t good at all but was carried to wins by a great defense and coaching, eventually got benched, never got the job back, and is now getting this deal and a starting gig again. Wild.
It is probably something as simple and stupid as his kids doing really well with Fields in Madden. That has legitimately been reported as a way Woody Johnson makes personnel decisions. It's a mess over there.
That said, I hope Justin does well

Seems like what Dennis Allen wants out on the edge. Big, tall, long.
I expect them to sign at least one pure pass rusher in the draft, but those can be had in the 2nd round this year.
Draft is wide open now, IMO.
