Saw Lawrence and talked to him and his wife a bit in line getting coffee. Was in a sling. Nice kid though. We just talked about his newborn never mentioned football or that I knew who he was.

I did the same in NYC a few weeks ago. Just shooting the breeze as we waiting for our coffee drinks with…Andrew Dice Clay! 🤭

I’m already not happy with Ben Johnson. He’s misusing Bedard. ;)

It can’t be Jeanty at 10. Just cant be. You have the QB and hired the hot OC on the market but this is still a fundamentally flawed roster. Team is already built like Poles was playing Madden. 10 HAS to be BPA in the trenches whether it be oline (Campbell/Banks/whoever), interior dline (Graham slips?), or edge (great class there)

I don’t want to overlook Dennis Allen as DC. Having a guy who was a HC in the building is very valuable. This is a great day!

I honestly forget but isn't Allen one of those guys whose D doesn't translate anymore between 3-4/4-3 because he uses alot of different formations, personnel?

One thing I do know is we need more pass rushers for it to have any chance to succeed and slug LB's with no skill are not type to have success in his D

I have no confidence in Poles ability to improve Bears DL/LB though no matter how good a coach Allen is

Yeah. Jeannty is an exciting player. And o-line wise not a lot there where the bears are picking. Unless you really believe in Campbell as a tackle
As always happens when the NFL scouts are coming out of their season-long self-imposed silence, there is quite a bit of movement in how people rank the O-linemen now. I don't think Campbell is viewed as a T, and there are a couple of tackles that might go ahead of him in the draft (Membou and Simmons, maybe Conerly).

I suspect they'll go for Campbell and find the best slot on the line for him. He might be the best O-lineman in the draft, but doesn't have the length to play T.

I’m down for even a guard at ten. My dream would be mason graham though

Given what is likely to be available at 10, I'm not even sure there will be a lot of wrong options.

If Johnson says he wants Jeanty, I'm all for it. Campbell or Banks? I'll be happy with any offensive line help with or without Trey Smith signing as a FA.

Graham slips to 10? Even better.
