But if Kunin is on the 2nd line then it would be harder to promote him to the 1st line when Smith gets stapled to the bench for a meaningless turnover. Easier to bump a guy from the bottom 6 to the top 6 than it is to have to shuffle more than 2 lines in order to bench someone
