And those sacks tonight, he had zero chance. Where Caleb, probably 1/3 to 1/2 of the sacks this year were on him.

1/3 to 1/2 on CW is saying a bit much, IMO. He also saved a ton of sacks with his legs and agility that most other QBs wouldn’t have. It all balances out.

The Bears drafted the wrong guy. Again.

Detroit’s d isn’t good enough. Too many injuries

I hope Caleb becomes special and we all know what he had going against him this season but Daniels is light years better than Caleb.
Daniels had a whole better situation around him from top to bottom. And yes, McLaurin is better than any Bears receiver. Robinson is a much better back compared to anything the Bears have as well. Add in a better O-Line and play caller, as well as head coach. Completely different circumstances. Not to take anything away from Daniels, but the Commanders developed him properly.

You cannot say the Bears picked the wrong guy after one season. Coaching matters. Christ, Caleb had a Bears historical rookie season amid all the shit he had to endure. He's far from the wrong guy.

Literally every GM would have picked Williams 1st. The Bears just did what they always do.

Meanwhile Daniels has a coach who went to a SB and a former coach who had success as his OC.

Williams had Eberloser, Waldron, and a position coach promoted to OC and then HC in a single season as his head coach.

If the Bears took Daniels he would have had a less than spectacular rookie season.

Bears fans don’t deserve a good coach or QB.

Go by the eye test. Regardless of situation, Daniels is light years better than Caleb
