His skating is average at best and kid lacks overall strength. Im not saying he is a bad prospect, but I would have a hard time ranking him in our top 10.

His straight line speed is definitely average but the rest of his skating profile is above average, so I don't think it is a hindrance at all. He definitely does need to get stronger in his lower half but he also doesn't ever get hit at this level, he's just an extremely smart and crafty player.

He's our best forward prospect not in the NHL and that includes Mesar and Roy.

Nope I dont think so, kid is in his D+3, there isnt much more room to grow or get faster. I have basically all our D+1 over him since there is much more potential and I easily have Heineman over him, Ylonen as well, much better skaters, better shot ect.

Watched the end of the AHL all star game before the beapot and I must say Woll looks pretty good.

He went to BU turned pro and played 15 games per year (injuries?) since.

This year he's on fire:

They always cheat and overcommit on Hutson, BU know this so they simply keep the puck

Ylonen is fast and has a good shot. But he, along with Josh Anderson, are the poster boys of how that is not enough to make a good hockey player.

I have Farrell easily above Ylonen. I hope Ylonen can come a useful 4th liner that can jump into the 3rd line when needed. I hope Farrell can become a 40+ point 3rd liner that may actually be a 2nd liner.

Ylonen will be a serviceable middle 6 winger, he is an awesome skater, good puckhandler, good possession player and fills alot of boxes, will end up as a full time NHLer after the deadline.

Heineman and Ylonen? come on man
Hands down. You guys are set for a huge disappointment. AHL will be a hard reality check.

We'll see about both Farrell and Ylonen. I look forward to Ylonen getting more comfortable at the NHL level and being less jittery with the pick and seizing more openings instead hesitating. But I still see him as a complimentary player with a capital C.

Now I know this is a hypothetical and you don't need to dignify this with a response.

If you legitimately took height of the equation, would you feel the same way? Wouldn't Farell have the most interesting offensive output out of the 3 prospects?

I'm not underrating Heineman or Ylonen, I understand what they can* potentially bring in a bottom 6 is tangibly higher than a similarly low productive Farell. I'm of the opinion that Farell has a higher offensive IQ and playmaking ability than the other 2 and if somehow that can translate, we make a 4th round pick into something in our top 9 moving forward.....
