Didn't see the game, but moneypuck was not a fan of the Sabres today. Stoked to get another W, but this is a sign that the current success is unsustainable.

Hoping the team proves me wrong.

The eye test very much agrees with that. Today's game was definitely a better lucky than good.

I wonder if it's time to reward Kulich a bit and put him at center between Cozens and take your pick while Krebs and Benson get the other one.

I'd argue Benson is driving that line just as much as Kulich.

They played a very good first, the Tuch penalty took some wind from the sails (terrible call btw). The second was ugly but they did a solid job of defending. The third was not bad, once STL tied it, we really amped it up. That tells me they were protecting the lead.

I thought they got the bounces they weren’t getting during the streak, but they still are very leaky and do not use speed to create pressure other than on the rush. Still too timid in not taking away time and space. Hopefully it clicks.
