PP was very good. Laughton is playing so much better than when he first arrived. Stolarz with a solid outing - save the one gaff - and a generally efficient game. I'd still like to see a more forceful start to our games. A great start for the big boys, hopefully takes some pressure off them as the series continues, if our best can be the best than I think the Leafs in 5 is very doable.

All the big dogs got points, so did the depth. Lorentz-Laughton-Jarnkrok looked great! Goals from the defence, our two offensive defensemen no less, when that was a concern is awesome. Matthews, Knies, and Marner were excellent too.

Glad Berube took Domi off that second line. It just doesn’t work. Linus Lalime is a total playoff sieve as usual. And the Sens are total shitheads. Dirty as f***.

Maybe now the media will take a break from all the Brady glazing. Definition of irrelevant tonight.

I could see Holmberg coming out for Pacioretty for the 2nd line. I still think it can work, but Berube did well to adjust.

Solid game, we were pretty dominant playing our game. Most of the time in their end of the rink, which led to the calls. Good PP, and Stolarz was solid when it mattered. Typical leafs win.

Kudos to the 4th line, they were solid and deserved the ice time they got. Laughton leading the way there is the cherry on top.

What a difference it makes to FINALLY have a competent coach.

For years the narrative has been “the Leafs core can’t put up goals in the post season” and now in Berube’s first game they hang half a dozen on Ottawa.

Soon to be highest paid Maple Leaf Mitch Marner leading the way with a goal and two assists. Cue the Marner haters to make up excuses about how the assists don’t really count because they were on the power play.

Meanwhile, Bozo The Keefe and New Jersey can only manage ONE (1) goal with their useless east-west style of play.

The 4th Line was spectacular and really exploited the Sens 5 on 5. It's great when you can roll 4 lines against a team
