After the first 2 goals it seemed we just played to protect for like 50 minutes. Glad Domi bailed us out in OT. I was really hoping after those first 2 we would just go for the kill and try to drive Ulmark out of the game, but we didn't get a shot after that goal for awhile and allowed him to get settled. Obviously, very happy to be up 2-0 in the series, but that wasn't an encouraging game.

I'm with you. Just waiting for a 30 shot performance and M&M & Willy to really dominate 5v5. Imo, Willy is better than any Sen but I haven't seen it yet. M&M should be dominating the offensive zone but again I haven't seen it yet.

Damned happy about the win, less happy about the way we played for a large segment of the game. Off to a great start, 2 goals on 7/8 shots and 8 goals in 4 periods, you don't back off the way they did in the second. The Sens were allowed to get back into the game by poor play by the Leafs. Unacceptable, and were the Sens a better team, we might very well be looking at a 1-1 series.

I think this is a better team than that. Impose your will, don't let up so easily. Perhaps this is the best that the Sens can present, and if so we've surely dented their confidence, but our lack of 60 minutes of high compete will hurt us against tougher opponents.

That said, we won. Woohoo, GLG!

Little brother can’t really expect any wins in this series so losing in overtime is as close as they can get to a “win”.

This was kinda the best outcome in a way. We won but it will also force Berube to make the necessary changes and ice the best lineup. That 'third' line cannot be used going forward.

Alls well that ends well but we can’t have 2nd periods like that. I liked our first and third period. Domi redeemed himself but he had a pretty poor game. Robertson should sit next game. That line can’t be trusted in our own zone.
