God ****ing damnit, isn't he our best D prospect? If I was a player nowadays I wouldn't even date anymore.
He's a goalie.

I wonder how Dean must feel after having setup the educational off-ice training for his players to avoid incidents like this, and Bartosak goes off and does this.
He must be sick of dealing with these types of issues. If the allegations are true, terminate his ass and be done with him. Let's see how long this will drag out.
I think Garth Snow may be calling Lombardi offering Berube back (although I don't think you can trade a player picked up off waivers back to the original team in the same season).
Aside from the main issue here.
Berube gone, likely Bartosak(hopefully, if true) and little else in the pipe.
LA probably would have drafted a couple goalies next year but this likely makes it more of a priority with more emphasis on a quality net-minder.

Why are the Isles keeping 3 goalies?
Is Berube the Isles version of Andreoff (not wanting to lose him to waivers)
They could not send him down because he was claimed on waivers. You have to keep the player up. Can't remember how long though.I think the Isles either like Berube or are not comfortable with the two youngsters in the AHL - Williams (1st year in AHL) and Chris Gibson whom the Kings are familiar with, to be NHL goalies at this point in time.
They can't send him down without exposure to waivers and there are teams like Buffalo who may scoop him up.
Man, you guys just can't escape this kind of garbage.
The NHL really needs to look at its contract termination clauses.

It becomes quite easy with those that are working on visas. They will just vanish in the night.
But I'm sure with everything that has happened it will likely be written into the new CBA.

That I am aware of, but can he be traded is what I am wondering. I guess he could but would need to pass through waivers as the Bolts grabbed Poulin off the Isles and then sent him down to the AHL without a claim and then traded him to Calgary.
b) A Player who has been acquired by Waiver claim shall not be Traded to another Club until the termination of Playoffs of the season in which he was acquired unless he is first offered on the same terms to the Club(s) that entered a claim when Waivers were requested originally and the offer has been refused.
Re: Berube, I thought if the Isles waived him at this point that the Kings would have first crack at him? Maybe DL could buy Snow a nice seafood dinner.
Do you mean more explicitly? because there's certainly enough leeway to just set fire to contracts for behavior concerns now. Though with the Kings consistent dealing with legal troubles, they may want a more concrete/certain path.
There was an article last year about how his Czech girlfriend was coming to States, etc. liked her cooking. Not sure if this is her? Doesn't seem like it.
He could be traded but if any other club made a claim for him he they would have first right at him.
The rule means that before a team can trade a player claimed on waivers they have to first offer that player to the other teams that put in a claim for the same waiver terms. i.e. the Player waiver transfer fee in CBA 13.16 that varies from $125 to $90,000 depending on the player's experience and position.
