Bars in Boston that root for the Canadiens?

Hey guys, I live in Boston for work but I'm from Montreal and obviously a Habs fan. I was wondering if any of you knew of a bar or other place in Boston where Habs fan unite to cheer for their team? It kinda sucks to watch the games by myself in my living room or be the only Habs fan in a Bruins fan packed bar...

Little off topic, but how is the city? Heard really good things about the city and if I have time/money this summer I want to go on a little vacation. I guess I'd just have to bus from Ottawa (or convince a buddy to drive), hopefully it's not too pricey.

It's a nice city, very clean. You can visit everything there is to visit in a day or two. If you like to go out, last call is at 12:30 am so it's kind of early compared to Montreal. You can grab Fenway Park tickets for cheap since they are not doing so well right now. Oh and don't drive IN the city, it's a nightmare

Good to know. Unfortunately I won't be 21 for another year and a half, so that's not a huge issue. Still can't believe how Americans need to wait till 21... 19 was a pain in the ass (18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec) but those extra two years... yeesh. Won't be doing any driving, as I'm too broke to afford a car, but how's the transit there?

There's a good subway system if you are just talking about getting around the city. You can pretty much walk anywhere you will want to be anyway.

I think they talked about one in the last 24CH or the one before.. I might be confusing it with another city though..

Transit is old but pretty good. A couple of months ago they extended the metro/bus service on Friday/Saturday (2:30 instead of 12:30 now) which is good.

Hmmm... a bar in Boston that shows a positively evolving hockey team that is not a collection of thugs that are always diving to draw penalties and where one can have intelligent and interesting conversation about hockey strategy and players instead of just talk about fights on the ice or complaining about the refs and finding excuses for losses...

Nope; much too evolved. I'm sure a bar like that simply cant exist anywhere in that city.-:sarcasm:

I think you're mistaken because everyone here keeps telling me that that team resides here in the TD Bank Garden and that the Canadiens team dives and are thugs and also cheat.( As evidence I have seen today a screen shot of too many men on the ice for the Habs when PK scored his goal out of the box).

Go to any sports bar and pretend you're a Bruins fan. Rejoice inwardly when a Hab scores a goal. If it's Subban, say "Damn, it would be him!" If anyone asks you where you come from, say "Nova Scotia.":sarcasm:

If anyone does that and inadvertantly lets out any "happy sound" when a Habs goal is scored then 14 Bahston guys jump on that fan and pummel him senseless... :) (while chanting U-S-A, U-S-A in unison)
