Bars in Boston that root for the Canadiens?

It's a nice city, very clean. You can visit everything there is to visit in a day or two. If you like to go out, last call is at 12:30 am so it's kind of early compared to Montreal. You can grab Fenway Park tickets for cheap since they are not doing so well right now. Oh and don't drive IN the city, it's a nightmare

Really? My god I think I just found out why there all the way they are me too, I would someone to punch and/or spear someone.

Talking of Canadiens and Bars.

C'est comment un pichet de bière à la Cage? How much is a picher at Cage aux sports? That must be out of this world?

Don't tell me no one knows how much $$$ is the beer at Cage aux sports.

Honestly? No. I go there, order beer, wings and homemade chips and eventually the bill comes up. And I frown.

Adding, the price/beer availability is different from one Cage to another.

Generally it must be about the same everywhere. I have to know before I go, I'm a piss poor college student.

If anyone does that and inadvertantly lets out any "happy sound" when a Habs goal is scored then 14 Bahston guys jump on that fan and pummel him senseless... :) (while chanting U-S-A, U-S-A in unison)

OT tangent but I have a question about "happy sounds." When the Toronto Dominion Garden (broons hate when you spell it out) announcer announces a broons goal, he does the usual "goal scored by ___, assisted by ___ etc. -- and then he emits this little cooing sound, it's not a masculine sound, maybe it sounds like Lucy's doing some stickwork on his stinkhole, I dunno what it is. So, what is it? That little sound the announcer makes, what's it all about, anyone know?

Wooo! Didn't you know? Ric Flair's their announcer.

Good to know. Unfortunately I won't be 21 for another year and a half, so that's not a huge issue. Still can't believe how Americans need to wait till 21... 19 was a pain in the ass (18 in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec) but those extra two years... yeesh. Won't be doing any driving, as I'm too broke to afford a car, but how's the transit there?

I would have killed myself if I had to wait another year. It should be 18 in every province.

I guess there's a lot of underage drinking in the US...many teenagers probably have fake IDs.

Oh yeah. I'm pretty sure my new roommate makes fake IDs, so if I ever have to go to the States I'll get him to help me out, but luckily I'm 19 now and rarely go south of the border.

When you go to college at 18, yes you will be doing a lot of underage drinking. I honestly didn't even care too much when I turned 21 and could "legally" go drinking. Our frat house was one of the big spots to get your fake ID done at our campus.

Aside from the bad news of a Bruins goal, that effeminate "Whoooo" noise sounds like an 8-year-old getting a wedgie. What an embarrassing tradition.

Don't know Ric Flair but his website is funny. Is his "Wooo~" really the origin of this TD Garden announcer's tradition?

The sound does seem to originate down there somewhere.

What funny is when half the crowd try to imitate it right after :help:

Yes! Makes it even more laughable.

You'll also hear it at Islander games.

Did not notice. I know at Panthers' games the announcer makes a little growling sound that's also grating but not as much.
