Saginaw and Barrie probably have the best trade relationship in the league. I wonder if Saginaw did a small sell off if something in this framework would work for both sides:

To Barrie: Joey Willis, Calem Mangone
To Saginaw: Parker Vaughan, Zach Wigle, SSM 3rd 25, BFD 4th 27

Doubt the colts do that but I do like Willis. I don’t see mangone really fit into the lineup with all the right wingers we have and Wigle is good enough for the role he plays. I can’t see Barrie trading Vaughan unless it’s for a superstar that has a chance of coming back next year. Parekh would be interesting I know it’d cost probs Vaughan Tiller Newton and probably 3-4 picks. Can’t see the colts doing that but would be a huge move. I like Joey Willis I think he could fit into the lineup alot better but I don’t think the colts would trade Vaughan for him. Maybe Newton and this years 2nd along with 2-3 other picks in rounds 3-5

I am wondering if anyone in this group has Barrie Colts game worn jerseys. I am a season ticket holder this year and have been unsuccessful in winning any of the raffles at the games, and would be interested in picking a few up to wear at games.

There's no reason why we cannot win 5 of the next 6 games to finish off the year.

Looking forward to a great 2nd half of the year as well.

Although a fan of Willis also, I think Marty would be crazy to even consider this , especially after trading Moses away to acquire an OA. Not sure what he's targeting, an upgrade to Wigle would definitely be nice as well as an additional stay at home defence man that can skate and punish the opposing forwards along the walls.

I think Marty’s much more likely to pickup a OA forward or a LW to improve depth can’t see him getting a D man unless it’s for a 06 D man that could help him next year aswell meaning I’d think tiller would be the odd man out who’s actually played really well so far so i think the d is probably set in stone. Barrie’s best options would be mccue foster or Willis for a LW and I don’t think u should trade Vaughan for any of them. OA’s swick in Kitchener I think makes the most sense for a upgrade of Wigle. I don’t think the colts have enough draft picks to do both things so it’ll probably be one or the other.

Big opportunity for Parker Vaughan tonight playing on the top line with Jelsma and Wakely. I've liked what i've seen from him so far this year. Hoping he has a good game tonight.
Nice to see Vaughan get more ice tonight but u can tell he isn’t used to playing heavy mins with top players having a tough one so far tonight. At least this teams biggest weakness is scoring which is the easiest thing to get at the deadline so not a bad place to be.

Congrats to both Akey and Beaudoin on making the World Junior roster. I thought both were on the outside prior to camp. Some surprise invites/ cuts like every year.
Team is gonna be missing possibly 5 players to this tournament which will give some ice time to the younger guys.
I was a little bit surprised about Akey but not Beaudoin. He's the type of player you win with, never stops working.

Well they definitely didn't have it tonight for most of the game. Glad they stole a point at least.
Yeah, not a great first and second period. Ben Hrebik stole them a point last night. He was fantastic as he has been all year. Should be a good chance to bounce back tonight as Ottawa will be without their best player in Pinelli.

Do you guys think Hilly will be back for OA season?
Unless he has NCAA aspirations I think he'll be back. I wonder if they look to move Hrebik in the summer to recoup some assets assuming Hillebrandt is back. He's gonna be in high demand and deserves to be a starter next season.

Agree, I think he will likely be back to try and earn a pro-contract assuming he doesn't have NCAA aspirations. Who do you think will fill the other two spots? I'm thinking Tiller will take one of the spots as I assume Akey, Bertucci, and Gardner won't be sent back down. I also think it's very unlikely Derbidge stays as an overager.

I think the colts will have Hillebrandt back as a OA next year unless they have faith in Hrebik or they decide to have both back and have an amazing tandem again. Bertucci will 100% be gone along with akey but I do think Gardiner has a better chance to comeback then to not because he isn’t signed and isn’t gonna put up unbelievable numbers I do think he’ll be back next year. Then tiller would be your 3rd OA on the team Derbidge has no shot of a OA spot. I wonder if hilly is back do they trade him for a OA player if they have confidence in Hrebik. Or they may bring in a 05 this year who has a potential chance of coming back next year mccue, foster, etc… I think either way this team has a very good chance of being a top team next year too I think it’s a 2 year run at this unless Beaudoin is gone which I highly doubt that so he’ll be back for 1 more year.
