Marty should have started Hrebik tonight he deserves more time especially when he’s clearly played better than Hillebrandt

The way some of the depth guys like Stewart and Lowe have played this year Barrie will have a hard time finding someone at the deadline to trade for because there’s really no room in the top 9 to make any moves. It’s really nice to see because I think this colts team can still be very strong next season aswell

There is a very delicate balance. If he chose to, Marty could possibly move Wigle and picks for Allard, Swick, VanSteensel.
I don’t think a Vaughn-Musty exchange for example, to play OA Wigle on the 4th line would be a good idea.

I see a few more of the Colts are suspended due to Friday nights antics. Hopefully they get this crap outa them now and start playing a consistent 60 mins of hockey. 3 Games for Bode Stewart and two for Sugar Ray Newton.

Oster did not have a great night but this game really exposed Oshawa’s two main weaknesses - - lack of depth and a complete lack of toughness.

Their 4th line has been horrendous and it was God-awful last night. Oshawa desperately needs to add at least two dependable forwards.

I have no idea what their fascination is with Harrison Franssen and the sooner they unload Brady Smith the better OLine for everyone.

When Aitcheson leveled Sennecke into the end boards he was fully expecting to fight someone and even dropped his gloves when Luke Torrance skated over towards him.

But Torrance did absolutely nothing and just quickly skated back to the bench. It’s inexplicable how an assistant captain could watch the team’s best forward get crushed into the boards and have ZERO response.

Oster made some outstanding saves.
Yeah, Torrance could have stood up for Seneke without getting the instigator; or, 6’3” Seneke could have stood up for himself. Oshawa did get the PP, so maybe Torrance made the right decision.

I was looking at the Colts prospects and noticed 2024 2nd rounder Ben Bowen who was supposed to play in Chilliwack of the BCHL hasn't played a game anywhere this season and isn't on their roster. Gotta wonder what's going on there. With the recent NCAA changes that could be an internal depth addition but playing no games by mid November is a concern.
