It's a great opportunity to get him up with the club to see where he is at and get him some opportunity. It's not like they are wasting a card on him he's already signed. He definitely has the size to fit right in. It makes more sense than playing a kid who normally plays D. If its a game here and there no big deal but its been two weekends now. Handsor has worked hard but its tough enough to play in this league as a youngster in your normal position.

With the NCAA changes announced today will teams really need to trade their young players now to fill a need at the deadline? I would think there will be a good number of quality free agent NCAA commits that can be signed to fill out a top 9/top 4. Going to get very interesting.

Gutsy win in Sudbury missing some key players. Thought Black had a nice debut. Didn't look out of place. One iffy goal on Hillebrandt but he was a wall when needed in the 3rd. Hopefully Gardiner is just sick or something and is back tomorrow. I'd imagine if Wakely is still out he's at least another week away.

Hopefully we see the offense pickup soon though it’s been tough as Barrie hasn’t been able to consistently ice all the top guys.

I thought Barrie did a great job of covering Musty last night and not giving him much at all. Was definitely a nice change from last year when Musty and Dvorsky had their way with Barrie.

Don't forget Goyette too!

Marty was quoted as saying Gardiner has food poisoning and needed an IV and Wakely could return to the lineup tonight.

Wow Hrebik has been impressive tonight and Carter lowe looks like a completely different player the last few games nice to see him play to his potential. I think they still need to add a forward doesn’t have to be a superstar but a solid forward that can play within the top 3 lines for some depth when injuries or sickness happen but this team is amazing to watch when things are clicking.

That was the wildest game I've seen in a long time. Tiller hat trick, extremely physical. These teams really don't like eachother. I'd imagine there's a couple suspensions coming. Dubowsky and Passmore would be my guess. Nothing the Colts can't handle with their depth.

Well unless they are taking 30+ minutes to announce it seems like league is OK with both of them but Clayton gets 2 games as of 30 minutes ago.

Not sure if the colts still own his rights or not cause he was drafted in 2022 but Parker forlin has 35 points in 21 OJ games I wonder if he would leave and come play for the colts now with the ncaa/ohl rule changes

Maybe he can be used in a trade? I don’t see how that player would fit on the colts right now. He doesn’t take the spot of J.Newton or Vaughn.

Nathan Poole has been a 4th liner for us for years- he goes to the OJHL and has similar numbers to forlin. Don’t think forlin would be that great for you guys.

I think he's a more talented Pickell. Doesn't fit Williamson's old school player profile. If he went OHL I think he'd be better suited to Sarnia, Guelph, Niagara or Peterborough

Wonder if Barrie will give Teague Vader or Noah Gaudet-Barton a shot in Passmores absence.
Possibly I see Williamson just playing Handsor on the 3rd pair with tiller. I’d think Vader would get the spot over Barton considering he’s already playing junior and is a year older and looked better in camp

HREBIK looked great again. When they play aggressive but disciplined hockey they are tough to beat. When healthy I can't name too many teams that combine their skill, work ethic and depth in all 4 lines and 3 pairings. Goaltending has been excellent all season - whoever has played they keep the boys in the game. Someone goes out the young kids step up. It was nice to see Vader and Barton get their 1st games in. They both seem like they will fit in well at this level at some point. Their young players all seem to be playing their roles and adjusting well. Their leaders have been as advertised and step up when the games are on the line. They have been a pleasure to watch. Jelsma was Jelsma with the OT goal and Beaudoin was clutch tying it up late. Marty hit on all the players he brought in. The additions of Wakely, Gardiner, Bertucci and Elliason bring it every night. Top teams need their best players to be their best players and although the top guys are driving this team, their depth guys have all been stepping up at different times. There seems to be excellent chemistry with this group regardless of who plays with who. They don't quit. Keep going boys

I feel like I haven't seen a game in forever after the road trip and I was away last week. Glad to see the boys are still rolling and looking forward to seeing them live tomorrow night vs. the Shwa. Wednesday night was fun watching the Leafs come back and seeing that the colts did the same!

Felt like the Colts deserved a better fate in that one. Doesn't get any easier tomorrow against the Gens. Should be a good one in front of a full barn at home.
