Absolutely dire period from us. We will start on the power play (Houle lit up one of the Condors and Kemp got a roughing penalty because he took exception) but we’ve done nothing on the PP thus far.

2-1 Condors after two, shots that period were 14-4 Bakersfield and we cannot stay out of the box. Only positive is it’s only a one-goal game. Condors must’ve hit the post three or four times now.

I remember us making an adjustment against these teams that defend us man to man and I’m not sure why we’re back to having no answer to it.

We had no control of the puck in this one, either.

Does this feel like a coaching thing? I feel like you’ve mentioned lack of any puck control for the last bunch of games. What’s going on?!

Possibly our worst performance of the season. Barracuda have Henderson for two games this weekend, which seems like it should be a good opportunity to get ourselves back on track. Even though we had an awful outing, that last goal was still a gut punch. I really thought we were somehow getting a point out of this game.

I mean, let me put it this way. This is the roster the Condors just sent out against us:

Seth Griffith's always a pain, but there's nobody else on that list that scares me in the least. And they outshot us 40-18 last night. The Barracuda seemed like they were on their heels the entire game.

You know what the Condors mostly do? They tightly mark all of our passing options on our breakout, and if we do get the puck into the offensive zone they collapse to the net and get in our shooting lanes. Their bench pounds the boards whenever one of their guys blocks a shot, it's a big part of how they play.

They play this sort of way, San Diego does something similar, and the Barracuda just cannot figure it out sometimes. Those teams are succeeding against us because they have a structure and they're executing their gameplan against us. So, do I think we're being outcoached against those teams? Yep.
