We played San Diego once before on 11/13, and that game was the one where Askarov made 48 saves and we squeaked out a 2-1 win.

Based on extremely small sample size, it doesn't really feel like we play well against the Gulls. They don't give us a lot of space, and there's too many hope plays by us. Which is a shame, because these are points we should be winning.

Ethan Frisch got hit by a puck in the first period, played through the second, but then was gone from the bench sometime during the third. Hopefully nothing serious.

That was a rough game to watch. At one point my wife commented that my beer league team looked more competent than the Gulls and Cuda
