I mean, I'm very annoyed they took Carpenter and Bailey from us in order to fill spots on an NHL team going nowhere, but the only defender the Sharks took is Thrun, and he wasn't very good down here anyway.

The defense/PK is the problem, and with our personnel, they should've been better than this. A lot better.

For me, fingers crossed Quinn's gone too. You can see similarities to his system in the Cuda's. And not good similarities.

4-1 final, Firebirds win. I said before it's a hard ask to beat Coachella Valley on the road on the second half of back to backs (because seriously, we just did this a couple weeks ago), but it's the way they lost tonight which is a little hard to stomach.

Not much else to add, McCarthy experimenting with some new pairings at the end which I hope he gives an extended look Saturday, when we face these guys again.
