Interesting. Didn’t see that coming.Sorry if posting in wrong thread.... looks like F Alexander Chmelevski going to Salavat Yulaev Ufa, KHL source
man we've come a long way from chmelevski being one of our top prospects
He’s young and he speaks Russian. He’s going for the payday and to see if he can resurrect his career with more ice time. Some would have you believe that this is only because he’s not an NHL regular yet, but it’s more complicated than that. He has to think about his future after hockey, along with his future in hockey.a dark time, that.
I find it super strange that he’d go to Russia right now, considering the situation there.

Yeah. He’s from the LA area.Yeah, but he’s American-born, I believe. I’m speaking as someone who was born in Kyiv and came here when I was 5, I can’t imagine anyone willingly making a decision to go back to Russia right now, career or not. But I guess he’s hoping the benefits outweigh the risks.
Huntington Beach native...Yeah. He’s from the LA area.
More jersey teasers.
Didn't the LV Wranglers disband almost a decade ago? There was already a Calgary Wranglers in the 70s, and it's not like there isn't already overlap in ECHL/AHL/NHL team names. With ECHL LV Wranglers dropping the nickname, kinda made sense.
I didnt know we had our own insider. Score one for HFboards. The Barracuda have chosen their new Head and Assistant Athletic Trainers, but I will hold off on sharing their names until an official announcement is out.
