Emily Kaplan just said on The Point that Goodrow is being evaluated tomorrow. I'm guessing that would be why he is out for 1 and 2.

If he is good to go, he'll probably practice Thursday and Saturday so he can be ready for game 3.

Would be perfect to get him and back and replace Reaves in the lineup. This would be the best 12 forwards the team has had at one time all season.

He's going from crutches and a boot to practicing in two days. I like optimism but that's a bit of a stretch, no?

It depends. He might be nearly back to 100% but they kept the boot on to be very cautious and speed up the late stages of the recovery.

Also Goodrow is going to go from a boot to skating in a matter of days at this time of the year, rightly or wrongly. Motte went from dead to into the lineup in a couple days. If this is an ankle though you hope with his style of play he doesn't reinjure it after 5 mins.
