I'm surprised they almost came back, cos they just weren't in the game. I think the team is going to cruise through the rest of the season since they already clinched and won't have to play their best until game 82 like the years before.

I thought that if Versteeg was playing in lieu of Andreoff, we would have had a better outcome. Some of our best opps came on that 3rd/4th line, but they just couldn't capitalize... just need that scoring finish.

Adding those two and taking out Andy and one of Clifford or Shore improves the depth considerably.

Yeah not making excuses because we deserved to lose but it's an entirely different look with Andreoff instead of Gaborik, Versteeg, or even Nolan there.

We've had bigger injuries this year than most will let on but we've kept on trucking in their face, I like that.

I think they are just worn out.
It was 5/8 that they went from the central time zone back to the pac then back to the central. While playing some of the top teams in the league. Add in the fact that is was also when the time change came. That screws up just about everyone.
Sadly we have to survive this week before things get any better schedule wise. But we aren't playing as tough of teams and that might not bode as well for us. They like to find away to get up for harder teams no matter what.
