As important as the points are, it sounds like he is playing the right way. For a skilled rookie this is big. It often takes sometime for this buy-in to happen.

IF we add a goalie at the deadline, I almost wonder if we should try to sneak Pickard down to Bako because neither Rodrigue (0.906sv%) nor Delia (0.902sv%) are solid #3's for a playoff run in case of a goalie injury.
