I had no idea he was that fast for top end. I knew he was "shifty fast", but him having a top end gear is nice to see.

I really do wonder if we'll see him get a cup of coffee with the Oilers this year. They are still struggling to find some scoring in the top-6, so there might be an opening for him. He is apparently very sound defensively from those that watch his games, so he likely wouldn't be a train-wreck in his own zone in the NHL, which is obviously always a concern with young forwards on teams that want to win now.

If Savoie gets a hang of crossovers hes shaving half a second off that 13.6. He's fast as fxxx

Awesome to finally have a forward prospect to be excited about in Savoie... it's been a long time. Hopefully he turns out. Do the rebuilding Flames with all their recent draft picks even a forward prospect as good as Savoie?

The Condors lost 4-3 last night in OT. James Hamblin with 2-1-3 and Savoie had a PP assist. Drake Caggiula got a Gordie Howe hattrick, the other player got an instigator penalty.

ehhh he got a pretty lengthy shot. Feel like he is what he is.
I think that on a game by game basis he has what it takes to be a 4th line NHLer. My issue with his stay here was that he wasn't able to maintain the same level of tenacity and play long term. If he can get over that hurdle he could be a NHLer at some point.

Anyone hear anything about Jarventie?

Team Canada's management really needs to be reassessed before the Olympics. That and Canada needs to find a steady goalie. A prime Carey Price and this team may not have given up a goal so far.

(Somehow this got posted in the wrong thread!!!)
