He'll have to win a cup or two to get there, so I'm down with that lolHelly is on trajectory to be the best of all time. Yup...I said it.

Dare I say HOF when all is said and doneHelly is on trajectory to be the best of all time. Yup...I said it.
Yep Nik is great when he’s in our line up. He is definitely our 3rd best forward.I was at a friends Christmas party last night. Really fun evening with the Jets game on as we ate, drank, played holiday games. Really followed the theme of the GDT as multiple families and more importantly multiple generations sat around sharing a collective Jets /festive experience.
I thought we looked good, at the same time the Wild looked tired and beat up. Our company rented a suite at the game last night and we filled it with 20 people that we work together with (and spouses/partners), sadly I couldn’t make it to this one due to the family party. The good news is there was no bad option last night.
The team looks different with Ehlers playing on the second line. With Nik it’s a second line, without him it’s a 3rd line. He can be frustrating at times but he is a game breaker and an important piece of the puzzle.
Happy to see Perfetti with a 3 point night. I feel like he has been playing well lately while not getting rewarded on the score sheet. Nice to see that even out a bit.
The Hellebuyck era is glorious. The biggest challenge for me is not taking his talent for granted. He will retire one day and I will miss him.
Really wish we didn’t have a game vs the Leafs tomorrow at 1:00. This would have been a great way to head into the break.
That’s a given. Question is will he go down as best American goalie.Dare I say HOF when all is said and done
Don’t forget all of the injuries to their key players. This win gets a double asterisk.I know it doesn’t really count because Minny was on a back-to-back, we scored on the PP and not 5-on-5, prolly the Corsi sucked or some shit, and we have Hellebuyck, but it’s always fun to beat up on the Mild.
Most fun I’ve had at a Jets game in a while
I think my favourite goal tonight was Perfetti's on the fourth goal. Puck went just out of reach for Minny, Perfetti snipes it and scores. Quite a beaut.
Imagine if we didn't win 5-0 and only won 3-2 , this place would be very sour right now.Don’t forget all of the injuries to their key players. This win gets a double asterisk.
Totally agree and ya Perfetti is playing very well.I was at a friends Christmas party last night. Really fun evening with the Jets game on as we ate, drank, played holiday games. Except their whole team was healthy as I’m referring to Kaprizov as their whole team.Don’t forget all of the injuries to their key players. This win gets a double asterisk.
The dirty Minnesota Wild out to injure key players on the opposing teams? Unsurprising. Did anyone check Russo's twitter to see how outraged he is?That was a well placed cross check by Spurgeon to Lurch's ribs, if they meet in the playoffs maybe Lurch remembers and pays him back
Idk.....in a 32 team league, I'm not sure that applies anymore. He'll have to win a cup or two to get there, so I'm down with that lol
That’s what I think the biggest difference was, with Stan out of the lineup. He wasn’t on the pk. And Pk was sooo muck better. He’s awful on the pk where every decision needs to be made just a bit quicker.Mild forecheck from a tired team. Morrissey took the PK minutes from Stan and was lucky he didn't get scored on. It won't last, but the complaining will resume soon enough.
So do all our losses without ehlers and Samberg get asterisks too?Don’t forget all of the injuries to their key players. This win gets a double asterisk.
That's what happens when you have injuries and your team has only one line that can score. You over play your top line on a B2B and you get a good player looking lazy which is not right. Krilli was on the ice for 1:35 mins on that goal. What a fun game to watch... not sure I remember the end haha
I guess Ehlers 'did something' this game
We wold be crucifying the Jets first line for that lazy backcheck on the second goal - no excuse for Rossi and Kapri
Nice to see $6 million Pionk back... one hell of a game
One of the few games i would actually criticize Apples - he was a step behind
Perfetti has been getting stronger and stronger each game lately - really think ehlers presence opens up space for him
So good to see a full game of the Jets playing their system...
- D shooting a TON and activating - forwards playing disciplined
- Powerplay movement and alternating bumpers - so much confusion on Wild D
- Penalty kill aggressive and not collapsing
- Always pressure on the puck with a secondary player preventing an 'out'

Okay, I gave you a like for that Jets 7-Up poster and just as quickly took it away for the Mariah Carey Christmas song, but after seeking counsel from a priest, my spiritual advisor and the philosophical homeless person at my bus stop I decided to give the like back because the overall good outweighed the bad.
And what's with those sticks, I'm sure they were just props for the shoot; all are Sher-woods with next to no curve and seem to have a ridiculously skinny blade.
Very impressive defensive approach tonight - jets were very good in their end, even when hemmed a bit.
They gave Minnie next to nothing in shooting angles or passing lanes - and they gave them no time to adjust.
Lots of pressure in all zones - really great to see the Jets shut things down this way against a good opponent.
Helle is probably thanking them all for the effort tonight.
Ehlers was on this game tonight - looked like he had a lot of wind in his sails and wanted the puck. Huge difference maker on the second line.
Top line was buzzing although they had some trouble completing plays - but I thought their dgame was pretty good - and KC is a different player IMO - his dzone game is much more aggressive - he's breaking up plays and finding ways to get more involved. Hope he sticks with the new KC game plan.
The blue line had a good night - not a ton of pressure when the forwards are helping out the way they did tonight. They had more time and were more composed - the 5 man game makes it easier for everyone. Ville had a good game and I'm sure he appreciated the help the d were getting more any any of them. His outlets are solid - that is his obvious strength.
The Wild did not look good - but the Jets were a big reason why.
