Couple big mistakes by Minny and a total game by the Jets. Great evening.
Our great evening is just beginning here. I only caught the first 50 minutes but the beatdown on the Wild was fabulous. Loved that Perfetti and Namestnikov scored and I think Pionk more than erased his mistake in Anaheim with his great playmaking.

When we play like we can and fly with abandon we'll remain first in the league for a long time to come.

Bring on Toronto!

It’s nice to get the 2 points but don’t get too high on the win.
Wild were on B2B … 3 games in 4 nights with key injuries.
Just like don’t get down on the Jets when we know key injuries and the schedule leads to bad games at times too.
It’s fine to get high on the wins as that is what is fun about sports. The key is not to take the down times too personally and make it a crises. Enjoy the ride. It has been a good one so far this year.

Probably the best all around game we've played in a month. We were excellent in all game states. Was starting to get a bit worried about our 5 on 5 play but a game like today eases those concerns.

We managed to more then survived our toughest portion of the schedule and remain solidly in first place heading into the break.

Hope Lowry's injury isn't too serious.

Good to see Perfetti finally start to get rewarded on the score sheet over the past couple of weeks. I believe 6 points on his last 6 games while playing real strong all around hockey.

Ville looked a lot better on his natural side and really started to show more of what he can do with the puck with a stable partner.

Ehlers looked much better then last game, seems to have worked out the rust pretty quickly.

KC is playing the best all around hockey of his career imo. Just a treat to watch nightly.

JoMo continuing to play at a Norris level.

Pionk really got his game going again after a couple off nights.

Fleury continues to be a nice surprise. Just a steady dependable player.

Happy for Barron to get his first goal with a goalie on net. That should give him some more confidence.

I feel DeMelo is slowly rounding into form. He's been a lot more steady lately.

We just crushed our main competition and increased our lead over Minny for the division title. Plenty to be happy about. The team responded quite well to their short funk.

5/5 Skeletons tonight. Beating Wild is always fun, Koal with his best game in a while, Helle with another bagel. Pionk had a nice bounce back game, Ville looked comfortable on his normal side. Top line a little disjointed but we still scored 5. Nice tip by Vladdy, hope Cappy is ok. It's okay to say it the Jets are a very good team just look at the over all standings

Good going on the secondary and tertiary scoring. Only top line points of the night were Connor and Morrissey with assists on the PP. Perfetti with a 3 point night (1G 2A) and Pionk with 2 points (1G, 1A).

First line wasn't really humming tonight but Names, Nieds, Iafallo and their lines played a solid game and chipped in on the scorecard.

Helle with another shutout; tied with the league lead at 3.

Helle 2nd in the league with a .926% (Stolarz .927% in 9 fewer games), tied for first (with Stolarz) in GAA 2.15. I smell another Vezina

What can you say about that game? Hellebuyck with the shutout, the Jets scored five goals, and we beat the division rival Mild. Just plain awesome! I give this game five "Hell-of-a-goalies" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the Laffs has been posted for your guesses. Thanks again to @Ponds for the fantastic GDT today, and I am sure will have another terrific one on Monday. Please note the start time is at 1:00pm CST for this one, so I will sadly miss the first two periods due to work (not like I actually do anything anyway, but I have to appear like I am). I will see you all then! Good night...

The goalie was actually out of the net when Barron scored.
