Would love to see vegas slump and lose 1st... mostly so the kings and blues kick the crap out of each other...
Kings have 5 of their last 7 at home, so it's possible. They will need help from the Flames. Who play the Golden Knights twice before the end of the season, and have to win a lot of games to catch the Wild.

Myself I would love to see Holloway and Broberg against the Oilers in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Its like big bro lil bro! 🫶

Flaherty is a savant.

I'm not sure why the surprise about Comrie though, he's been strong all year. If we could have scored a couple more goals for him here and there he'd have a much better record.

He's 8th in the league in sv% and 9th in the league in GAA amongst goalies with at least 15 starts.

He's outperforming more than half the league's starters.
I seriously think that Flaherty doesn't get as much credit as he should. I was one that wasn't a believer in him at first, but what he has done with Helle, then Brossoit, and now Comrie is just amazing.

Congratulations to Eric Comrie on the shutout! Awesome game by the Jets against a team that they have had very little success with. Just hope Nikolaj Ehlers isn't too banged up. I give this game five "Farscapes" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the team with no name has been posted for your guesses. Time is running out to sign up to create a GDT before the end of the season. Don't miss out on your chance to have some fun! See you on Saturday! Good night...

You are a genius @macmaroon !

Who knew the Achilles heel for F*CK Vegas was Farscape!

It appears most people indluding myself are missing your humor. It’s pretty much indistinguishable from when you are being serious. It would help if you use an emoji. If not then maybe don’t tell people to chill or relax, it’s not on them.
Who knew therd was such a sensitive segment of posters on here. As if Arniel would say that to his superstar goalie. If you did not get my sarcasam then I really cannot help you. Since, I also went on to admit I was wrong and ate crow.
The treatment I get out here is next level admonishment for having a different opinion. I am told to feel joy, act like the regular season should mean more than it does, ignore the fact there are other teams equal to or better than the Jets and ignore the fact they match up better with some teams than others. It is shocking but not as shocking as posters who take the time to press the ignore button.
It is petulant, ignorant and could be construed as bullying but I will not go away. I will be the voice of the marginized, the ignored, the bullied.
I will continue my next level analysis without the need for validation from fellow keyboard warriors that would rather admonish me than engage in thoughtful discussion about our team that will hopefully continue this great regular season in the playoffs.

sorry. I think Talent and team D is what is showing through. Not some magical coaching. Flats had a Bunch of goalies get worse under his tutelage....somehow we don't talk about them....

A bunch? Pavs? There isn't a goalie coach anywhere that could have made him decent. I'd like to hear about the rest of that "bunch" though

And he helped a 5th round pick become the best goalie on the planet, and maybe the best American born goalie of all time

Yeah. I think Stanley is lucky we are a bit thin on d right now or he may not have gotten the opportunity to rebound like he did last night.

Also says a lot about how they view Fleury and Ville right now.
For some reason, Stanley and Miller make an OK pairing. When Stan plays with anyone else, he's much worse.

And putting him on his off side is a terrible mistake

He was strong.

I feel kind of awful for Gus though. Waited to get back in so long, then one mistake and out.

Gus is one of those 4th line is his ceiling type pros that will always have to battle to stay in the NHL. Not physical, limited offensively, not a fast skater, so what he brings is strong defensive play which is ok but not enough to make him a regular on this Jets roster at least.

It's getting silly at this point. We have a higher winning percentage against elite teams then any other team this year.

The group has risen to occasion time and time again this year.

Yeah neither are that great when separated. Sometimes things just work.
Miller has been decent with Heinola and Fleury. We will see how he does with Schenn hopefully soon. He just doesn't belong in the top 4 the way we expect the top 4 to play 20+ minutes a game.

Have said in the past that generally what you see in the arena is what you get, in all probability many comped tickets fans from other teams and the rest hard core fans. They have football, soon a baseball team and it wouldn’t surprise me to see a basketball team in the near future
