Post-Game Talk: Bagel City, Jets 4 - VGK 0

5/5 Skeletons tonight, Bagel for Comrie tonight he does his job as the back up and then some. Jets rolled 4 lines again tonight and spread the scoring around. Nik battered and bruised for sure the foot didn't stop him dead leg did hopefully nothing serious. All 6 D man played really well, Fefe had a complete game A I still fits on the top line. Folks that's 108 points back to 4 points up on the Stars. 6 games to go a win against the HC will go a long way to winning not only the division and conference but the President's Trophy.

The person who says that only shows up here to whine when they lose.
Nope I am here
I am shocked that Arniel 'gambled' on Comrie and won. To be a fly on the wall when Helly was told and I quote " you need to take tonight off because you are playing like playoffbuck".

Jets gave up a few too many high danger chances after going up 3 - zip but they certainly made amends for the LA game. Glad they got the Vegas monkey off their backs.

I did not even use up a reverse triple axel jinx on this win; gotta save them for other games.

Congratulations to Eric Comrie on the shutout! Awesome game by the Jets against a team that they have had very little success with. Just hope Nikolaj Ehlers isn't too banged up. I give this game five "Farscapes" out of five...

The Prediction Contest for the game against the team with no name has been posted for your guesses. Time is running out to sign up to create a GDT before the end of the season. Don't miss out on your chance to have some fun! See you on Saturday! Good night...

We don't play well against teams that play a playoff style of game...feck off already...
Vegas did not play this like a playoff game; LA did. Arnie's hunches paid off JAD played well, had chemistry with Tanev and Baron. Comrie was truly a brick and Arnie showed balls of steel electing to sit Helly.
Good effort. I still have my concerns but hope this is the game that helps them stave off Dallas. Good thing they play in a semi dry state next game. Hope there is no let down.

Lots of naysayers before this game and the Washington game with no confidence in our team. It doesn't matter though, Toronto is going to win the cup..
I certainly did not think they could win this game especially when I saw the brick in net although I like his game. It was a curious decision that worked out This also proves my point that streaks are ment to be broken. I hope the leafs do not break theirs but they seem unstoppable. utah game should be interesting. Who starts?? Probably helly cuz calmree is on babywatch!

I see Helle getting Utah, St. Louis, and Dallas and then Comrie getting Chicago in the first game of a b2b with Helle getting the 2nd game against Deadmonton. After that, it depends on the standings.

The phrase "timely save" has always bugged me because pretty much all goals against suck. And you probably only needed to make a "timely save" because you let in some goals earlier. If you'd made those earlier "untimely saves", you wouldn't need to make a "timely save".

But this was a timely win.

A lot of depth looked good tonight. Schenn with a strong game. Comrie obviously played a great game, and as a side note he plays the puck really well. If Iafallo ends up a cap casualty next year, I feel like we've at least had a chance to see him at his best - sublime assist to Scheifele. Miller with a deadly sonic boom. Anderson Dolan represented himself well.

I'm glad the lines are back to normal. But I feel like Perfetti benefitted from being "the guy" on Name's line while Ehlers was shuffled out. Perfetti's emergence has been visible a while now, but him being on a line (for a while) where there's nobody to defer offense to has added even more confidence.

Pretty cool for Comrie to be the guy that leads us to a victory over the Knights.

Hats off to the Knights' coach for pulling their goalie at 5 and a half minutes. Don't think I've ever seen that before. I like they went for the win. I like it even more they got shut out.
